Merry Christmas!!

Today i'm at my grandma's house. We came yesterday though Powell River but missed the 12 o'clock ferry so we had to wait for 5 hours. So we wandered through the town and I found out that they have a Wal-Mart in Powell River. Who would even think that they had a store like that at all. For those of you who don't know, Powell River is a small town up the coast about a 2 hour drive from Gibsons with a ferry ride in the middle. They also have a Bootlegger! I mean I thought they didn't have any stores like that. I found a cute short sleeved jacket there that i'm now regretting not buying. Lance, Chad , and I are going to dads tomorrow so i'm going to try and find another Bootlegger so I can buy it.

My friend Becky and her parents invited me to go to the play called the Nutcracker on Thursday. I'm pretty excited! I've only ever seen the movie. And now I get to go to the theater in Vancouver and watch it. It's semi formal so I have to dress up a bit. I don't mind, I love dressing up for special occasions! Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!!

YAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm really happy right now!!! My favourite show just ended(America's Next Top Model) and Caridee won!!!! She was the one that I liked the most from the beginning. And she actually won.
Dayna: Top 3 were Caridee, Eugena, and Melrose then Eugena got booted. The final runway show was them being ghost brides. It was really cool. Last years model, Danielle, was in it too. Sorry, but Brooke got cut a long time ago. Caridee won!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!

I finally did it!!!

Yup, that's right, I finally cleaned my room. I mean really cleaned it. I washed the windows, vacuumed really well, and finally put everthing in its correct spot. Sorry I can't post pictures because I don't have a digital camera. But, you can actually see alot of the floor for the first time in forever! Both Dayna and I never really cleaned the room. Well, maybe once or twice. It looks really nice though!

Not much has happened with me in the last little while. Except, my youth group leader, Karen, told her already graduated daughter, Jenah, about me being lonely without a big sister. So, Jenah asked Karen if she could e-mail me and maybe meet up with me sometimes to talk. It's kind of like a adopt a sister type thing. I thought that would be cool so I said sure. By the way, Jenah is one of Dayna's friends.

Dayna is gone.

And it sucks!!! She packed up everything of hers into boxes and bags and left for 8 whole months. So now my room is empty and I just figured out I have hardly anything. Dayna left on the plane on Sunday. I was sick but, I had to say goodbye anyway.(my choice). I had already shed some tears on the matter but, I still bawled when she was leaving. I REALLY miss her and I want the 8 months to go by really fast.

My bruise

Well, It was last week when I got a frisbee to the eye. Yeah it hurt alot. I got half of a black eye but, it's not as big of a shiner as Ange's was. It has grown since last week and now it is taking up half of my eye and is all purple. The guy who did it to me didn't even say sorry. And to add on to that, today he asked me how it was and I told him that it was really bruised. And then he said ''Good." I mean how retarded can someone get?

Anyone who knows her knows that she is pretty great. She can have her moments but that is just what makes Dayna, Dayna. I love her and if you met her you would most likely love her too. It is/was her 19th birthday about a half hour ago. She went to the city today to go to some parties with some friends.

Oh! And for all of you who don't know Dayna, here's a glimpse of wha she is like...

Dayna will be leaving for New Zealand and Australia in October (sob). We'll all miss her. I think i'll miss her the most though because it will be lonely at night without her dancing and company. We are all happy for her and I wish I can follow in her footsteps.

Back to the 80's.

Well, you might be wondering what the title is about. The grads are throwing a welcome BBQ for us and the theme is 80's. So Lance and I were figuring out what to wear and how to do our hair. I'll try to get some pictures so I can post them later but, for now you'll just have to sit tight and wait.

First Day

It was my first day in high-school today. It is actually pretty easy. I was so scared to go. I have this friend who is in 3/5 of my classes. It Rocks!! And all of my classes are on the same floor so I don't have to go upstairs at all. I'm taking band this year and I usually play normal clarinet but, my teacher wants me to play bass clarinet. I've decided that I will because it's something different to learn.

Sorry I haven't posted for a while. I'm not really the posting type.

Anyway, I've had thing plan of painting my room for a while now, but I had never painted before. So I never knew what to do. Until my friend phoned me on Wednseday, she was going to paint her room pink and she needed some help. We've worked on it for the past two days now and it's looking pretty good. We still need to put another coat on it though (maybe even two more). So now I've gotten some experience. Yah for me!

I've decided to paint my room green. It's my favorite color. I love it! Well if you have any ideas of what else I should do with my room that would be great if you said them. Just keep in mind my room is small and I don't want it too stuffy.

Summerland here I come! (again)

Yup, that's right, i'm going to Summerland tomorrow with my mom. I get to see my sister, her hubby, and their kids again. My mom and I just got back from my Grandma's yesterday and we were going to leave today, but I wanted to spend at least one day here.

For all you people who know that my brother and I don't really get along that well here is something weird:

I miss Chad A LOT. I don't really know why maybe its just that i'm used to seeing him every day and now I haven't seen him for three whole weeks. At least I get to see him tomorrow.

My Birthday!!!!!!!

My mom and I decided to go surprise my Grandma by going to her house on Monday. We had a great time driving up here, just me and my mom. Guess what was my birthday present from grandma. A trip to the dump. well it wsn't really my birthday she just needed to go throw some thimgs away. (I actually got forty dollars) And that was the only present I got on my actual birthday other than supper from aunty nancy. Oh! ok funny story to tell.

Grandma decided we would go out for supper at a pub/restuarant since she thought I would be ok going in there with three adults. Mom was a bit antsy about it. So we go in there, about to sit down and a waitress comes over then she asked me for some I.D. Mom tells her that i'm 13. But seriously, can't she tell that i'm younger than nineteen! I guess I really do look like Dayna. Crazy hey? We ended up going to White Spot which was really good. I had a hot fudge brownie for dessert. Mmm... chocolate.

So... Happy Birthday to me!

Just An Update

Sorry I haven't posted for a while( it is summer and all). Well, here's an update- I got a new job. Taking care of this really cute 13 week old puppy. His name is Buddy and he is a lab, german shepard, rotty cross. I have only gone to there house twice, but they say they want me to come over whenever I can and spend a couple hours at their house taking him for walks and playing with him. I'm serious, he is the cutest puppy in the world! They also have three cats just like us who love people. Just to remind all of you who know me well (family, friends) my birthday is coming up on Tuesday. (Not that i'm hinting or anything.) :)

Today my sister, Angella, went to the city to do some shopping without her boys so we got stuck with them. Not that it is a bad thing or anything. So we played in the house for a while, had a nap, went to the mall to pick some things up, and played with the neighbors who are now Graham's "friends". Angella is due to come home any minute so we will be free of them! (just kidding!) So everybody have a great rest of the day!

3 DAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have three days left of school!!! I am so excited! On thursday I get to wear my dress on this walk-down thing with little kindergarteners. They are so cute. And then on Saturday I get to go to Summerland to visit my sister, her husband, and their two boys. It's going to be so great!

Burn baby burn

That is what you get for being outside with no sunscreen on your back for three days. I got the biggest burn on my back and it hurts like heck! I just got back from camping with my class at Kathrine Lake. I didn't have the greatest time but, that's o.k. Then when I got back Riley told me I was having a heat stroke. Yeah for me! I'm alright other than the fact that I can't go outside and my head keeps on spinning. Well, hopefully it doesn't last too long.

My Kitties

We got yet another cat! His name is Moses and he is really cute! He has really big ears and eyes. Chloe likes to act like his mom. She licks him for five minutes and then plays with him for twenty minutes after that. She could have been a real mom, but she wasn't aloud. Bucky doesn't really like him. He growls at him every time Moses gets near him. Buck will get used to him.

Sleepover

Last Friday I had a sleepover with two friends. And after watching both Charlie's Angels movies till one o' clock in the morning we went upstairs to sleep, although we never really got to sleep. You see, we decided to pull an all nighter. We almost made it to seven a.m. but we just couldn't make it past five. Then we woke up at nine, so we hardly got any sleep, but that's o.k. Then on Sunday my friend asked if I wanted to go sailing with her. It was pretty fun. We jumped off the boat into freezing cold water and then we did it again! We had lots of fun!

Mother's Day

We had a great Mother's Day. We had our neighbors over (the person I babysit for and her son) ,we had both grandmas, and our great aunty nancy. So eleven people in all and Riley helped Dayna, Lance, Chad and I make brunch. It was very good. Then after our brownie, strawberry rhubarb coffee cake, wipped cream, and ice cream dessert us 'kids' went outside and played badminton. That's right we got a badminton/ volleyball set! And then we had to take it all back because the rackets were breaking (thats where everyone is right now). I made four cards for mothers day, one for each grandma, one for my mom, and one for nancy. So all in all we've had a great mothers day. Happy Mother's Day to all moms and soon to be moms.

A craft area finally!

I have finally cleaned out the downstairs closet and turned it into a craft area! It used to be a pig-sty, but now it is fit for a queen( if she likes living in linen closets). LOL! Dayna was actually going to clean out the closet, since it was a mess, but I got to it first. Yeah for me! (ya right). I organized everything of mine and I can now start making cards and stuff. It's pretty cool.

6 Weird Things About Me

1. Like my sister (Dayna) I have a scary laugh. I start laughing normally but when I laugh really hard I can't breathe for a long time and the way people know I'm laughing is when I let out a really high pitched squeal. It's really weird.

2. Most of the time after I come home from school I put my pjamies on right away. I don't know why, Its just that I feel more comfortable in them.

3. I CANNOT sleep in socks! It is soo uncomfortable. I hate it!

4. I kiss and hug my cats good-night before my parents. (No offense mom)

5. I have to do logic puzzles before I sleep or else I can't fall asleep.

6. My mom and I eat raisin Bran, Yogurt, and sliced up bananas. Most people think its gross but its really good.

It's for a grade seven grad walk-down thing. It's really, really pretty. I love it sooo much. It's a black dress( I know, I know not very summery) and it has lime green accents and embroidery. I'll post a picture of it soon. I love it alot!

So.. back to teeth. I went to the dentist today(again) I'm really bad with my teeth but i'm getting better... I think... it's soooo annoying getting fillings. I hate it! That's it thanx for listening LOL!

Alfi

Dayna, mom, and I went to the Sechelt thrift store on Saturday and got this really big basket for the cats to sleep in (there we go again.. cats!) and when we got home mom looks at the basket and says Moses. I asked her what she meant and she said that she wanted to call the cat we are getting Moses. She doesn't really like the name Alfonzo because it's too formal, she says. So we are going to change it to Moses (I like that name alot better! Chad doesn't really approve that name because he was the one who named him at first). O well! I'm so excited!

My Obsession

CATS! I've been talking about getting our new kitten for a long time(May 20) and I just realised that I talk about my cats sooo much! I am really obsessed! By the way... the new cats name is Alfonzo(the boys named him) the kitten that we got in November is Chloe & the cat that Riley(my step-dad) brought is Buck and I love them all sooo much! Well... thats that.
